Arthur (Art) Anderson is Managing Principal of AH Anderson Consulting, LLC. Art’s passion is to help organizations become more productive, efficient and competitive. With more than 30 years of business and consulting experience, he has a successful track record and specific expertise in helping companies enhance their process, product, and services capabilities, and achieve their desired business outcomes. He’s a proven leader who delivers results, builds and empowers collaborative teams, and develops strong relationships with key internal/external stakeholders. Art provides strategic advisory and hands-on support to companies looking to lower operating costs, improve productivity and optimize customer experience retention. Areas of expertise include industry-specific insights, strategic transformation, intelligent automation, process improvement and optimization, M&A integration/optimization, and service delivery strategy and design, for companies serving the specialty materials/chemicals, industrial/specialty gas, semiconductor, manufacturing and pharmaceutical industries. He has experience in both profit and not-for-profit sectors, as well as early start-up companies. Prior to founding AH Anderson Consulting, Art enjoyed a career of increasing responsibility and challenge. Previously, he was a Director for Air Products in its Global Business Services organization, leading the transformation from Shared Services to a Global Business Services framework leveraging a host of automation technologies. Prior to that role, Art was General Manager in the Customer Engagement organization, leading the process management, transformation (Order-to-Cash focused) and E-commerce activities for the corporation. Earlier in his career, Art progressed through sales, marketing and P&L leadership roles in a variety of end markets, including consumer products, rubber and plastics, general industries, aerospace and electronics. In the process, he traveled extensively in North America, Asia and Europe, giving him a truly global business perspective. Following these successful assignments, he returned to Air Products’ HQ to co-lead the Electronics Division’s ERP/SAP global implementation. Art holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Syracuse University, an M.S. from Howard University in Chemical Engineering, and an M.B.A. in Marketing from City University of Seattle. He also has extensive leadership, process excellence and Lean Six Sigma training (Green Belt). Art also works as an expert consultant for Gerson Lehman Group, Guidepoint Consulting and Coleman Research, offering "deep" industry and strategic insights to their clients. He is a member of Beacon (formerly Greater Philadelphia Senior Executive Group), and is a member of the Advisory Board for Syracuse University’s College of Engineering with a focus on the Biomedical and Chemical Engineering department.
